This facility needed a new 9,843 s.f. Short Term Rehab Care unit, as determined through an existing space needs analysis. This included a review of building, fire, and health codes for compliance. In turn, this involved a major re-organization of existing spaces including functions and circulation. A primary goal was to establish an inviting sense of hospitality with a non-institutional flavor.

Along with a new entry canopy, the alterations included lobby and waiting area, physical therapy, spa, bathrooms, dining, offices, and support spaces. Residential rooms and bathrooms were also renovated. The sitework included modifications to the parking lot, driveways, sidewalks, drainage, and landscaping. As a result, this healthcare center is now a rejuvenated, responsive environment for accommodating the needs of the residents, staff, and visitors.
