The Arc of the Farmington Valley, Inc. (FAVARH) is a non-profit community based human service organization providing services to individuals with mental disabilities. The Alleluia House campus consists of three buildings: Group Home providing residential services, CEP Barn providing day-time activities including recreation and dining, and the DSO Building also providing day-time activities. FA was engaged to provide re-design of existing spaces as well as expanding each building to accommodate programming needs, along with site modifications. In essence, the resulting design addresses the changing needs of residents, ADA compliance issues, improve energy efficiency, as well as to improve the quality of life and well-being for both the clientele and the staff.
